Agworld is committed to protecting the privacy of all personal and confidential information our customers share with us.

We encourage you to read this Data and Privacy Policy carefully. It describes various categories of information we collect and use in providing services to you and how we collect, protect and use that information. If you use our online services in any capacity, whether as a grower, agronomist, product supplier or other industry participant and whether on a free trial basis or as a subscriber you will be entitled to the protections set out in this Data and Privacy Policy and also subject to its terms.

To give you access to our online services and provide a range of products and services to you we will need to collect the following information about you and, if necessary, other users associated with your company or organisation:

We will not disclose or share Your Information with third parties except in the following circumstances, or as described elsewhere in this Data and Privacy Policy:

AGGREGATED AND NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect and aggregate data and information, including Ag Data, from a number of sources. That data and information help us among other things to identify and analyse trends, set benchmarks, observe customer behaviour, participate in research and development programs and improve our products and services. That data and information are aggregated so that no individuals nor their farm and business operations can be identified, and so that none of their specific Personal Information can be ascertained.

Examples of such data which we describe as Aggregated Information include crop types, levels of pest infestation and reported crop diseases and long range weather and climate patterns, in each case across counties, regions, states and countries.

We may collect, use and transfer any Aggregated Information for any purposes we choose, although we will not do so to make speculative commodities trades or knowingly to assist others to do so.

If you are not comfortable with your data and information, including any Ag Data you provide us, being included in any Aggregated Information then you can elect to opt-out of the collection and use of your data and information for such purposes on the opt-out terms more particularly set out in the then-applicable contract between you (or your employer) and Agworld, as applicable.

COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

In operating our online services, we may use a technology called "cookies." A cookie is a piece of information that the computer that hosts our online services give to your browser when you access the online services. Our cookies help provide additional functionality to the online services and help us analyse online services usage more accurately. For instance, our site may set a cookie on your browser that allows you to access the online services without needing to remember and then enter a password more than once during a visit to the site. In all cases in which we use cookies, we will not collect Personal Information except with your permission. On most web browsers, you will find a “help” section on the toolbar. Please refer to this section for information on how to receive notification when you are receiving a new cookie and how to turn cookies off. We recommend that you leave cookies turned on because they allow you to take advantage of some of the online services features.

We may allow third party service providers to use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites following your use of our site and online services. For example, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). We have in place a range of industry standard measures to protect Your Information. Those measures include technical and security features which are regularly audited, reviewed and updated. Our staff are also trained and educated in data protection and privacy practices and policies.

Before we give you access to any of our online services you will generally need to take steps to verify your identity. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and access codes.

THIRD PARTY SITES

We are not responsible for the privacy or other practices of third parties which operate sites which are linked to our online services. We also accept no responsibility for the content of those sites. INTERNATIONAL DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Your Information may be transferred and stored by us in countries other than the country of your residence. ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

Your request should make clear the information you wish to have corrected or otherwise changed. We will make the necessary corrections and changes you submit to us as soon as is reasonably practicable.

OPTING-OUT

You may opt-out of certain programs and services we provide, including programs and services which involve the collection of Aggregated Information and the promotion of a third party’s products or services pursuant to the opt-out terms more particularly set out in the then-applicable contract between you (or your employer) and Agworld, as applicable.

Your request to opt-out should make clear the particular program or service in which you do not or no longer wish to participate. You should be aware that generally an opt-out request will be subject to identity verification and cannot be retrospective. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

USE OF OUR ONLINE SERVICES BY CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect data and information from anyone under the age of eighteen and we ask that no-one under that age provides us with his or her data and information or uses our online services.

UPDATE TO THIS DATA AND PRIVACY POLICY

We may update and amend this Data and Privacy Policy and always reserve the right to do so. This Data and Privacy Policy was last updated on the date indicated above. Your continued use of Agworld’s online services after any changes or revisions to the Data and Privacy Policy will indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised Data and Privacy Policy.
